The Pope's AIDS comments in Africa

I read the Pope's comments on AIDS in his news conference while he was on the airplane travelling to Africa, and was rather surprised that they elicited such publicity worldwide. I'm not really surprised, but this article does a good job of explaining the Catholic Church's position on AIDS and what grounds those who criticize it have (and don't have) concerning it.
